Dr. Zhen Xiao ensures corporate compliance and scientific robustness and leads new business development for RoboTech Science.
Dr. Xiao has 16 years of hands-on expertise in government-contracted research, biopharmaceutical collaboration, partnership building, and success in securing funding for new technology development. She is a recognized expert in Molecular Profiling and Omics application for cancer and other genomic and infectious diseases.
Previously, Dr. Xiao was a Senior Scientist in the Advanced Technology Program at the Frederick National Laboratory for Cancer Research, Leidos Biomedical Research, Inc. As a founding member of the most advanced government-owned contractor-operated Proteomics Center and Analytical Technology Laboratory at the National Institutes of Health, she managed a portfolio of independent and collaborative projects on cancer biomarker discovery, antibody characterization, molecular diagnostic assay development, protein therapeutics evaluation and translational medicine using multidisciplinary team approach that includes molecular biology, cell biology, immunology, proteomics, genomics, metabolomics, bioinformatics and analytical chemistry. She has published more than 50 scientific articles and four book chapters.
Dr. Xiao received her BS in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from Sun Yat-sen University in China and Ph.D. in Biomedical Sciences from Eastern Virginia Medical School. She is a two-time recipient of the prestigious American Association for Cancer Research AFLAC Young Scholar Award.
